Negre Criança 2021 (box of 6 bottles)
Black wine made with 50% Merlot, 30% Syrah and 20% Brocada. The Merlot comes from a twenty-year-old vine at 650 m high, where red clay predominates in the soil. The vineyard of the Syrah, located at 600 metres, is seven years old, and the Brocada comes from a thirty-year-old vine, which is about 700 metres high.
The grape has been selected on the vine and harvested by hand. Fermentation has been performed in stainless steel deposits at 24oC-25oC, and medium-lived skin maceration with Merlot and Syrah, and slightly longer in the case of the Brocada. Malolactic fermentation has been in French oak wood, where it has subsequently been raised for nine months. It has not been leaked.
Year: 2019.
Graduation: 14th flight.
Tast note
View: Grenadish red, clean and bright. High layer.
Nas: Medium-high aromatic intensity. Fresh red and black fruit notes and at the same time limineras. Dolces such as vanilla appear and also turfacts provided by wood, but integrated. We find some background balsamic memory. Clean aroma.
Boca: It is fleshy and structured, but at the same time it is kind. The tannin is present but it is smooth. We find a marked acidity that brings a lot of freshness and balances it.
